Chinese food Calories and Health

While chinese food is tasty, many of the dishes are fried in oil and prepared with over 2 g of salt. For example, the orange beef is 1500 calories per serving. Try to avoid menu items that are fried or say CRISPY since they are stir fried in about 3 tbsp of oil.
Having 1 cup of broth egg drop, hot and sour soup or wonton soup can help fill you up for 100 calories so you can eat less of the higher calorie main course and perhaps share it with someone. Try to eat steamed or poached chicken or fish with sauces on the side and use low sodium soy sauce. Enjoy
