Keep Active, Keep fit, Improve your health

Regular activity can improve your overall health and fitness. Physical activity can help prevent chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, depression and decrease such conditions as high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Regular activity improves physical fitness and muscle strength and endurance.
To help you get active:
aim for 1/2 hour of activity most days of the week. This may include walking, dancing, biking, swimming,
Aim for muscle strength activities at least two days a week. Try to strengthen all major muscle groups
Warm up for 10 minutes of light exercise and stretching before activity
Gradually increase the intensity of the aerobic activity over time.
