To me, a physician Nutrition Specialist, a healthy snack is a fresh fruit, such as an apple, an orange, a banana. Loaded with fiber, nutrients, unaltered and hopefully, no genetically altered materials.
For people on the go who want a quick, easy, healthy snack for themselves and their kids, I saw these pre packed desserts and wanted to share them with you. They would be a great compliment to the hummus and pita I mentioned in my last posting. Easy to pack for lunch or the office. Only 30 calories per serving.
